To say that this image is from the way back files would be an understatement. If this duck were still alive today, it would be the oldest living pintail in history. If a long life for a duck is three years, which that’s probably pretty old, then this duck has been gone for many years. Kinda cool to take old images and resurrect them with the software we have available today. When I first processed this image so many years ago, it didn’t look anything like it looks in this post. I’m sure the pintail would be thrilled to see himself and if he has any family, great great grandkids or grandducks in this case I guess maybe that happen to see this post I hope they are thrilled. High key Kestrel from Utah more than a few years ago. I have plans to refocus my efforts not away from big game but to more of this type of stuff I used to shoot so many years ago. I stopped shooting anything but big game because it was all I could sell after the stock agencies became a thing of the past. I will refocus and go back to the things I really love to shoot concentrating more on video this round.
