Welcome to the online photo gallery of Darren Bennett. I am nature and wildlife photographer based out of Burlington Colorado. I am in the restaurant and advertising business photographing local sports, hunting, and other outdoor lifestyles when business obligations prevent me from traveling. When I can travel my journeys take me from South Texas to Alaska and many places between. My subjects range from lage mammals to butterflies to grand vistas of the natural world. Nothing excites me more than a close encounter with any animal in their environment, on their terms. I strive for and hope my photography reflects an intimate connection with my subject.
My work is represented and sold around the world through a major stock photo agency based in New York City. I also work with corporate clients on projects such as ads and cooporate brochures.
